A trailer for 3 Body Problem has landed online. The new show comes to the screen from David Benioff, D.B. Weiss, and Alexander Woo and comes to Netflix in March.
The series boasts quite the cast including Jovan Adepo, John Bradley, Rosalind Chao, Liam Cunningham, Eiza González, Jess Hong, Marlo Kelly, Alex Sharp, Sea Shimooka, Zine Tseng, Saamer Usmani, Benedict Wong and Jonathan Pryce.
3 Body Problem is based on the epic Remembrance of Earth’s Past trilogy by Cixin Liu, which follows a futuristic Earth on the verge of war with a neighbouring galaxy (a three-star system, the titular 3 Body Problem). What happens when we discover we’re no longer alone in the universe?
The official synopsis is as follows:
A young woman’s fateful decision in 1960s China reverberates across space and time to a group of brilliant scientists in the present day. As the laws of nature unravel before their eyes five former colleagues reunite to confront the greatest threat in humanity’s history.
Benioff and Weiss (Game of Thrones) and Alexander Woo (The Terror: Infamy, True Blood) are serving as co-creators, executive producers and writers on the show which hits on March 21st.
