As we approach the release of the movie this summer, Lionsgate has released the first look at Bill Skarsgård as The Crow in the brand new adaptation of the source novel directed by Rupert Sanders. The feature is due in cinemas this coming June 7th with FKA Twigs (also pictured), and Danny Huston among the main cast.
Zach Baylin, and William Schneider adapted the source material, the original graphic novel by James O’Barr which was first turned into a film back in the 1990s with Brandon Lee in the main role.
Soulmates Eric Draven (Skarsgård) and Shelly Webster (FKA twigs) are brutally murdered when the demons of her dark past catch up with them. Given the chance to save his true love by sacrificing himself, Eric sets out to seek merciless revenge on their killers, traversing the worlds of the living and the dead to put the wrong things right.
The first look images can be seen above and below. Expect a full trailer soon.
