A Ready Player Two movie is reportedly on the way. The potential film would be based on the book of the same name and is a follow-up to the very popular Ready Player One. The novel by Ernest Cline was developed into a successful film with Steven Spielberg directing though it is though that he will just produce the sequel.
The news of a Ready Player Two movie stems from Showbiz 411 who first reported the news which comes from Oscar’s big night at the weekend.

The plot of the novel is as follows:

Loved the book more than the first movie – there was a lot to pack into the couple of hours that Zak Penn adapted from the source material – but the film was hugely popular taking a whopping $579 million in box-office receipts from around the globe.
