Over the weekend, Rian Johnson revealed the new title for the thrid film in the Knives Out series. Wake Up Dead Man looks like it is heading for production soon and the rumour mill as to whom will star alongside Daniel Craig in the new mystery is hotting up.
What’s On Netflix is reporting that God’s Own Country and The Crown star Josh O’Connor, Mad Max Fury Road’s Tom Hardy, The Parent Trap‘s Lindsay Lohan and Priscilla’s Cailie Spaeny are reportedly in talks to join the ensemble for the new movie. The rumours are as such and not confirmed by anyone at Netflix or the production at the time of writing.
Daniel Craig is, however, confirmed to return for the third whodunnit as detective Benoit Blanc.
“I love everything about whodunnits, but one of the things I love most is how malleable the genre is. There’s a whole tonal spectrum from Carr to Christie, and getting to explore that range is one of the most exciting things about making Benoit Blanc movies,” Johnson said on X as he announced the new title.
