Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has released the home digital and physical release details for blockbuster prequel Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga.
The film is directed by George Miller (Academy Award for Best Animated Feature – Happy Feet, The Mad Max franchise, The Witches of Eastwick). Miller wrote the script with Mad Max: Fury Road co-writer Nico Lathouris. The film is produced by Doug Mitchell and George Miller.
Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga stars Anya Taylor-Joy (The Queens Gambit) as Furiosa and Chris Hemsworth (Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Rush) as Dementus. The film also stars Alyla Browne (Three Thousand Years of Longing) and Tom Burke (BBC’s War & Peace and The Musketeers).
As the world fell, young Furiosa (Anya Taylor-Joy) is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a great Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus (Chris Hemsworth). Sweeping through the Wasteland, they come across the Citadel presided over by The Immortan Joe. While the two Tyrants war for dominance, Furiosa must survive many trials as she puts together the means to find her way home.
On July 1, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga will be available for early Premium Digital Ownership at home and for 48-hour rental via PVOD on participating digital platforms where you purchase or rent movies.
On August 12, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga will be available to own on 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD from online and physical retailers. Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga will also continue to be available to own in high definition and standard definition from participating digital retailers.
