Icon Film Distribution has got in touch to inform us of the home release details for the brilliant Sasquatch Sunset. The feature, which premiered at Sundance and then Berlin (where we caught it), is making its Home Premiere on 29 July and arriving on Blu-ray and Digital from 26 August, packed with more than three hours of UK exclusive special features. Our full Sasquatch Sunset review can be found at the end of the link. The Sasquatch Sunset DVD looks as good as the brilliant movie and it is packed with bonus stuff, all of which you can find out about below.
Beginning in the misty forests of North America, a family of Sasquatches – possibly the last of their enigmatic kind – will embark on an absurdist, epic, hilarious, and ultimately poignant journey. Over the course of a year these shaggy and noble giants fight for survival as they find themselves on a collision course with the ever-changing world around them.
Starring Riley Keough (Mad Max: Fury Road, American Honey) and Academy Award-Nominee Jesse Eisenberg (Zombieland, The Social Network), acclaimed directors David and Nathan Zellner (Kumiko, the Treasure Hunter) bring audiences the greatest Bigfoot story ever told, from the producers of Hereditary and Midsommar.
Touching, gripping, funny and totally wile, Sasquatch Sunset is one of the most unique films you’ll ever see.
From our festival review of Sasquatch Sunset, which we were lucky enough to see at the Berlin Internatinal Film Festival back in February.
