A Different Man ranks high on my films of the year. I caught the Sebastian Stan-led drama in Berlin earlier this year and it is absolutely brilliant. Stan plays the man of the title, a budding actor living with neurofibromatosis who gets a chance to change his appearance through a new medical trial.
Renate Reinsve and a scene-stealing Adam Pearson are also among the cast of the film which is written and directed by Aaron Schimberg. It lands in U.S. cinemas through A24 on 20th September.
Synopsis: Aspiring actor Edward (Sebastian Stan) undergoes a radical medical procedure to drastically transform his appearance. But his new dream face quickly turns into anightmare, as he becomes obsessed with reclaiming what was lost.
My A Different Man review is here if you want to check it out. I loved it and like it even more months of after seeing it and digesting it.
A24 has release the domestic trailer and poster, both of which you can see below.
