The brand new trailer for Joker: Folie À Deux has landed online courtesy of Warner Bros. Pictures. Joaquin Phoenix returns as Arthur Fleck in the new movie which also features the likes of Lady Gaga, Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener, Steve Coogan, and Zazie Beetz.
It has a release date set for 4th October.
Joker: Folie À Deux finds Arthur Fleck institutionalized at Arkham awaiting trial for his crimes as Joker. While struggling with his dual identity, Arthur not only stumbles upon true love, but also finds the music that’s always been inside him.
This looks magnificent and is surely a cert for Oscar nods – if only for its stunning cinematography from Lawrence Sher. There will be more than one nomination, I’m sure. Let’s not forget that Phoenix picked on up himself last time around for Best Actor.
