D23 has taken place stateside over the weekend – that’s the big biennial Disney fan expo – and amongst the tons of news that cam out of it was a full teaser for the live-action Snow White which is expected to release in March 2025.
Marc Webb directs the film with Rachel Zegler in the title role and Gal Gadot is Evil Queen while Andrew Burnap is Jonathan.
The feature is a reimagining of the 1937 classic animation, the first of its kind. The magical music adventure journeys back to the timeless story with beloved characters Bashful, Doc, Dopey, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, and Sneezy, all present as fantastical beings rather than dwarves.
Greta Gerwig and Erin Cressida Wilson wrote the screenplay while La La Land and The Greatest Showman musical geniuses Benj Pasek and Justin Paul will pen new songs.
