The full line-up for this year’s BFI London Film Festival has been announced. 253 titles will feature at this year’s event, comprising features, shorts, series and immersive works hailing from 79 countries, and 63 languages.
This year’s festival will open on 9th October which will host the world premiere of Steve McQueen’s new film, Blitz. The festival will close on 20th October with the premiere of Morgan Neville’s Piece By Piece.
Returning to its home at the heart of London’s South Bank at BFI Southbank and The Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall, the Festival will also run in cinemas and venues across central London plus nine LFF partner cinemas across the UK.
As well as the movies, there will also be Screen Talks with Andrea Arnold, Steve McQueen, Mike Leigh, Denis Villeneuve, Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi and Jimmy Chin, Lupita Nyong’o, Zoe Saldaña and Daniel Kaluuya.
