Daniel Roebuck on playing Santa in ‘Terrifier 3’

The second sequel hits later this month.

Daniel Roebuck is an actor with a very impressive list of credits. Having performed in a range of television shows and films across the years, he is one of those people that everyone knows the face of. His more memorable credits include Lost, and his appearances across several Rob Zombie films, including 31, Halloween II, and most recently, The Munsters. However, Daniel Roebuck’s next role is set to see him become an instant icon of the horror world as he is one of several new victims for Art the Clown in Terrifier 3

Following the shocking events of Terrifier 2, survivor Sienna (Lauren LaVera) is plagued by disturbing visions and begins to realise there is no escaping her past, or out-running Art the Clown (David Howard Thornton). Sadistic, sinister Art the Clown is back, and he is more twisted than ever, determined to shatter the peace Sienna and her family have fought so hard to regain – dragging them back into a depraved and insidious living nightmare. With a thirst for chaos and a mind twisted by pure evil, Art unleashes his biggest and bloodiest wave of horror yet, forcing Sienna to face her fears once more in an epic fight for survival.

Whereas Terrifier 2 was set at Halloween, Terrifier 3 unfolds at Christmas with Daniel Roebuck taking on the role of Santa Claus. Art the Clown causing carnage at Christmas sounds like exactly the early gift that gorehounds have been waiting for. That wait is almost now over as Terrifier 3 arrives in cinemas from 11th October. Ahead of the release, THN had an early sit down with Daniel Roebuck to uncover more about his involvement in the project, and precisely what Santa’s chances of surviving a fight with Art the Clown are:

Terrifier 3 is only in UK and Irish cinemas nationwide 11th October. Distributed by Signature Entertainment.
