We’re hearing that a new Rugrats movie is on the way, so reports TV Line. The planned feature will reportedly be a CGI/ live-action hybrid and produced over at Paramount Pictures.
There have been three previous movies based on the Nickelodeon TV series which spanned nine seasons and 172 episodes. Jason Moore will direct the new film from a screenplay by Mikey Day and Streeter Seidell.
All of the previous material was animated but this new work will be an approach that is slightly different, much like the mix of CGI and live actors seen in Sonic The Hedgehog in recent years.
