One of the hot tickets to come out of Venice has been Justin Kurzel’s crime movie The Order starring Jude Law, a trailer for which has just been released.
The thriller is based on “The Silent Brotherhood” by Kevin Flynn and Gary Gerhardt and is set in the 1980s. Jude Law plays an FBI agent in the film with Nicholas Hoult, Tye Sheridan and Jurnee Smollett rounding out the main cast. It will release stateside in December through Vertical and then hopefully in the UK shortly afterwards.
Based on a true story, an alarming surge in violent bombings and bank robberies in the Pacific Northwest leads a weathered FBI agent into a deadly cat-and-mouse game with a charismatic domestic terrorist plotting to overthrow the US government.
Here’s the new trailer.
