Daisy Ridley to join Martin Campbell’s next, ‘Dedication’

The two recently worked on ‘Cleaner’.

We’re hearing that Daisy Ridley is to reunite with Martin Campbell for a new feature titled Dedication. The planned film is a project being launched at AFM with the British actor to work with Campbell once again following their collaboration on Cleaner.

Wyatt Earp and The Hurricane writer Dan Gordon scripted this one with Ridley set to play ‘a decorated Marine Corps commander who is relieved of duty after a high-stakes mission in the Philippines results in civilian casualties, despite capturing anarchist leader Omar Romatas’ – as per Variety.

After those events, she visits her dying father, Clyde, a former Marine, who asks her to attend a dedication ceremony for a school building named in his honour. It all goes south when Omar Romatas’s vengeful son, Bento, launches an assault, taking hostages.

Producing are Phil Hunt, Valentin Dimitrov and Sagiv Diamant.

Ridley is next seen here in digital release Magpie, which is released next week. That film (pictured above) is distributed by Signature Entertainment in the UK and enjoyed a recent premiere at FrightFest Halloween.
