‘Mary’ trailer – Netflix’s feature film about the birth of Jesus

Netflix has revealed a trailer for their upcoming film Mary which is set to land on their streaming service in December, right in time for Christmas. This is a birth of Jesus story with Noa Cohen appearing as the title character.

Mary is a coming-of-age biblical epic in which Mary is shunned following a miraculous conception and forced into hiding. When King Herod ignites a murderous pursuit for her newborn baby Jesus, Mary and Joseph go on the run – bound by faith and driven by courage – to save his life at all costs.

Ido Tako, Stephanie Nur, Susan Brown, Ori Pfeffer, Eamon Farren, Hilla Vidor, Mili Avital, Gudmundur Thorvaldsson, Dudley O’Shaughnessy, Keren Tzur, and Anthony Hopkins are also among the cast.

Through Mary’s eyes, this coming-of-age biblical epic tells the story of one of history’s most profound figures and the remarkable journey that led to the birth of Jesus. Chosen to bring the Messiah into the world, Mary (Noa Cohen) is shunned following a miraculous conception and forced into hiding. When King Herod (Anthony Hopkins) orders a murderous hunt for her newborn baby, Mary and Joseph (Ido Tako), go on the run – bound by faith and driven by courage – to save his life at all costs. Directed by DJ Caruso (DisturbiaI Am Number Four), Mary reveals a side of the icon we’ve never seen or even imagined before.

Watch the trailer below. The film hits Netflix quite soon on 6th December.
