‘The Apprentice’ sets home premiere debut

The Apprentice has set a UK home premiere following a successful run in cinemas in October. The film, based on the rise of Donald Trump in the 1970s and 1980s, will land on digital to rent and buy through STUDIOCANAL from 2nd December, according to an official press release.

Directed by Ali Abbasi and written by Gabriel Sherman, The Apprentice premiered at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival back in May and is a dive into the underbelly of the American empire. It charts a young Donald Trump’s ascent to power through a Faustian deal with the influential right-wing lawyer and political fixer Roy Cohn.

A Blu-ray and DVD will be forthcoming. We’ll have more info on that in the coming weeks.
