Interview: Charlene Aldridge on new British film ‘Fyre Rises’

Charlene Aldridge is a homegrown talent who has appeared in multiple British productions over the years including No More Lights in The Sky, Tribal Get Out Alive and the brand new Fyre Rises. She has maintained a strong interest for the industry since childhood. After moving from Walsall to east London in her early years, she pursued her passion by self funding weekend acting workshops through paper rounds and cleaning jobs.

A proud self starter, Aldridge cut her teeth in the industry as an extra on multiple film and television productions. This eventually lead to some excellent guest appearances alongside Romesh Ranganathan in The Reluctant Landlord and Idris Elba in Turn Up Charlie. She then went on write and produce her award winning short film Broken Promises in 2018, which showcased her incredible talent and range.
