It looks like The Last Of Us season 2 has a release date with the show, based on the hit video game of the same name, heading for Max stateside in April.
Based on the Naughty Dog game series, The Last Of Us season one reached huge acclaim when it was released back in 2023.
The second run of the hit show is expected to take at least some of the narrative from “The Last of Us Part II” game and be spread across seven episodes.
Bella Ramsey, Pedro Pascal, Gabriel Luna, Rutina Wesley, Young Manzino, Isabela Merced, Jeffrey Isaac, Ariela Barer, Tati Gabrielle, Danny Ramirez and Catherine O’Hara are among the cast of The Last Of Us season 2 which is aiming for that April debut. The show airs on Sky in the UK and, as with all of these big American shows, we expect the UK run date to tie in with that of the U.S.

Filming on season 2 took place for a large part of 2024 – between January and August – and comes to the screen just over two years since the debut of the ground-breaking first run.
