A streaming date has been revealed for one of last year’s late releases. Said film is Nightbitch which stars Amy Adams and is written and directed by Marielle Heller.
The film will stream on Disney+ in the UK and Ireland from 24th January, according to an official press release from Searchlight Pictures.
Nightbitch is based on the acclaimed debut novel by Rachel Yoder and revolves around a woman (Amy Adams) who pauses her career to be a stay-at-home mom, but soon her new domesticity takes a surreal turn.
We reviewed the film back at the London Film Festival in October and really liked it. Of the film, we said: A dangerously confronting portrayal of motherhood that manages to accurately communicate the internal battle between love for your child and the dramatic upheaval they cause, without ever placing blame at anyone other than the societal expectations that enable these feelings to manifest.
