Prime Video has released the trailer for their upcoming doc This is the Tom Green Documentary about the Canadian comedian who rose to fame in the 1990s.
The trailer informs us of the subject matter and what indeed happened to Green when he left our screens – he basically headed back to Canada to live on a farm.
Tom Green performed a brand of shock comedy, appearing in his own show The Tom Green show from 1994-2000. He also appeared in a number of movies, including Stealing Harvard and Todd Phillips’ Road Trip, among others.
There was also the critically mauled Freddy Got Fingered, released in 2001, which was nominated for four Razzies.
Green moved away from Hollywood and now lives on 100-acre property located, reportedly, on White Lake in Central Frontenac, Ontario.
The documentary tells his story from past and present and hits Prime Video on 24th January – later this week.
