MUBI sets ‘Queer’ streaming date

Acclaimed Luca Guadagnino’s film Queer has set itself a MUBI streaming date. The film stars Daniel Craig and has been a hit on the festival circuit and in cinemas. There is even awards talk for the adaptation of the J.G. Ballard work.

The cast also includes Drew Starkey, Lesley Manville, Jason Schwartzman, Henrique Zaga, Omar Apollo, Andra Ursuta, Andres Duprat, Ariel Shulman, Drew Droege, Michael Borremans, David Lowery, Lisandro Alonso and Colin Bates.

1950. William Lee, (Daniel Craig) an American expat in Mexico City, spends his days almost entirely alone, except for a few contacts with other members of the community. His encounter with Eugene Allerton (Drew Starkey), an expat former soldier, shows him that it might be finally possible to establish an intimate connection.

MUBI will stream Queer in the UK andIreland from 31st January, according to an official press release we received earlier today.
