The Panorama, Generation and Forum strands have now completed their line-up for this year’s edition of the Berlinale. The festival announced its official competition and specials last week.
Festival programmers today announced that Rosa von Praunheim’s feature Satanische Sau (The Satanic Sow) completes this year’s programme as a Panorama Special. The World Premiere of Zhi Wu Xue Jia (The Botanist) by Jing Yi Completes the Generation Kplus Competition, while the World Premiere of Stolz & Eigensinn (Pride & Attitude) by Gerd Kroske Completes the Forum Programme.
Panorama features new works from the likes of Ira Sachs, Isaac Julien, Ina Weisse, Mehmet Akif Büyükatalay, Amalia Ulman, Jeanette Nordahl, Sébastien Betbeder and Fernando Eimbcke. There will be a total of 34 films featured in the strand with an additional 15 playing in Generation and 30 in Fourm.
The Berlin International Film Festival kicks off in the German capital from 13th-23rd February.
