Cosmo Jarvis is the latest big name to join the cast of Christopher Nolan’s in-production The Odyssey. Filming is currently underway in Morocco.
Sh?gun star Jarvis, who has also been seen in the likes of Calm With Horses and the Peaky Blinders TV series, will star alongside Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Zendaya, Anne Hathaway, Lupita Nyong’o, Robert Pattinson, Benny Safdie, Charlize Theron, Jon Bernthal, Himesh Patel, Elliott Page, Bill Irwin, Samantha Morton, Jesse Garcia, Will Yun Lee and Corey Hawkins. How about that for a cast?
The film will be based on Homer’s ancient Greek powem with Nolan writing the script and directing. The story revolves around Odysseus, king of Ithaca, who, after wandering the Earth is trying to get home after the Trojan War. In the story, he faces off against the likes of Polyphemus the Cyclops, Sirens, the nymph Calypso and the witch goddess Circe.
No word on whom Jarvis will play but we’ll keep you posted.
