Here’s a trailer for a new documentary which is the making, Stan Lee: The Final Chapter which looks at the final years of the comic book icon who passed away in 2018.
Stan Lee: The Final Chapter comes to the screen from filmmaker Jon Bolerjack and centers on a scandal in those last years which, as the notes on the project say, are as ‘wild as any superhero saga’.
Bolerjack was an assistant to Stan and a fixture of his inner circle, gaining unprecedented access to the legendary Lee and filmed everything he saw.
“What he uncovered was a thriving market where Stan’s signatures and memorabilia were converted into huge piles of cash and rival hucksters double-crossed each other to control Stan’s fortune,” so says the trailer description over on YouTube.
“After years of collecting this footage he’s ready to share this shockingly and truly heartbreaking story with the world.”
Bolerjack has piled his own cash into the film and created a Kickstarter to get the film over the line. Hit that link to get involved. This looks really interesting.
