We love The Surfer, the new film led by Nicolas Cage which is finally set for cinemas in the UK this summer. Cage stars alongside Julian McMahon, Nicholas Cassim, Miranda Tapsell, and Alexander Bertrand in the new film, which was shown at last year’s Cannes Film Festival under the Midnight screenings strand.
Lorcan Finnegan directs the psychological thriller which is written by Thomas Martin. The official synopsis is as follows:
A man returns to the idyllic beach of his childhood to surf with his son, but is humiliated by a group of powerful locals and drawn into a conflict that rises with the punishing heat of the summer and pushes him right to his breaking point.
