Tom Cruise climbed to the top of the BFI IMAX over the weekend

Tom Cruise and Hayley Atwell in Mission: Impossible Dead Reckoning Part One from Paramount Pictures and Skydance.

Tom Cruise was in London this weekend ahead of the release of Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning which comes to cinemas later this month. The film is set to bow in Cannes later this week and get a sparking London premiere but this isn’t the news we’re bringing you on this bright Monday morning.

No, in what is now tradition with Tom Cruise and stunts, here’s a video on what appears to be the 62-year-old actor atop the iconic BFI IMAX in London’s Waterloo area on Sunday afternoon. This is perhaps on of the busiest and most famous roundabouts in London and the IMAX building is currently wrapped with promo posters for the latest M:I adventure.

Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning is said to be Cruise’s last bow as Ethan Hunt in the series of movies that has seen him dangle from wires in the very first ’90s instalment, hang from the side of a plane, skydive from the edge of space, and hold his breath underwater for a rather unhealthy amount of time in the later movies.

Cruise is getting the BFI Fellowship for his services to the industry and for the movies produced in the UK over the 40-some years he’s been in the business.

Check out his latest feat below.
