Signature Entertainment are releasing ‘Rust’ in the UK this June

Signature Entertainment has revealed that they will release Rust with Alec Baldwin in the UK this June. The film has just got itself a UK trailer to go with announcement with a date of 23rd June confirmed.

In 1880s Wyoming, recently orphaned Lucas Hollister accidentally kills a rancher and is sentenced to hang. In a twist of fate, his estranged grandfather, the notorious outlaw Harland Rust, breaks him out of jail and takes him on the run toward Mexico. As they flee across the unforgiving wilderness, the fugitive pair must outrun the determined U.S. Marshal Wood Helm and a ruthless bounty hunter named Preacher.

Starring Alec Baldwin (The Departed), Patrick Scott McDermott, Travis Fimmel (Vikings), Frances Fisher (Unforgiven), Jake Busey (Starship Troopers) and Josh Hopkins (The Perfect Storm). Rust is written and directed by Joel Souza (Crown Vic).

The film was shot back in 2021 and hit the headlines for all the wrong reasons when an on-set accident led to the death of the cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. The feature was completed last year and released in the U.S. in May

Rust is available on Digital Platforms in the UK on 23rd June and on DVD 7 July. Here’s the trailer.
