After winning the Prix Spécial at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, Bi Gan’s new film Resurrection has got a new teaser trailer courtesy of the film’s U.S. distributors.
Janus Films are releaseing this one stateside – in New York and Los Angeles on 12th December with a screening taking place with a Q+A with Bi Gan later this week.
In a world where humanity has lost the ability to dream, one creature remains entranced by the fading illusions of the dreamworld. This monster, adrift in reverie, clings to visions no one else can see—until a woman appears. Gifted with the rare power to perceive these illusions for what they truly are, she chooses to enter the monster’s dreams, determined to uncover the truth that lies hidden within.
Jackson Yee, Shu Qi, Mark Chao, Li Gengxi, Huan Jue, and Chen Yongzhong lead the cast of the movie which has had the teaser trailer go live on Janus Films’ YouTube channel.
