YOUR SISTER’S SISTER director Lynn Shelton has another project on the way, and some big names are in negotiations to join the cast of LAGGIES.
If everything goes to plan, Anne Hathaway will play Megan, a twenty-something lady not ready to grow-up just yet. When her boyfriend (Mark Webber) proposes, Megan freaks out and runs away to a career convention. But what does she actually do? Makes friends with 16 year-old Annika (Chloe Grace Moretz) and hangs out with her for a week. Sam Rockwell is also in talks to play Craig, an older character (I’m guessing that Megan falls for him at some point – just a guess!).
I was lucky enough to see YOUR SISTER’S SISTER last June and I loved it. Shelton is known for letting her actors do what they want and ad-lib a lot of the script, so I’m hoping LAGGIES will be the same. Hathaway has had an incredible year and pairing her with KICK-ASS starlet Moretz is a brilliant idea. I can’t wait!
