Magic based heist movie, NOW YOU SEE ME, has delivered a brand new trailer, which certainly ups the excitement in terms of what we can expect to see. NOW YOU SEE ME, involves a bunch of magicians who openly announce, and seemingly manage, to rob banks and then give the money away. The problem for the authorities, is that they have to discover exactly how the banks were robbed, because saying it was magic isn’t going to hold up in court. This trailer really focuses on the tricks we can expect to see, but maybe gives away a few too many clues. Obviously it is movie magic that is pulling off the real tricks here, but the film looks like a highly enjoyable heist thriller, like a mix between OCEAN’S 11 and THE PRESTIGE, although that might just be the Michael Caine connection talking.
NOW YOU SEE ME is released in the US on 7th June 2013 and in the UK on 21st June 2013. It stars Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher, Dave Franco, Mark Ruffalo, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Melanie Laurent, Common, Michael Kelly, and Elias Koteas.
