Dame Judi Dench is to appear in Clint Eastwood‘s film J EDGAR, according to the man himself. The film, based on the life of J Edgar Hoover, original Director of the FBI, is set to go before cameras this year, and the word is that Charlize Theron is also to appear.
Her rumored casting was put to Clint on a recent red carpet by Sandwich John Films, to which the legendary filmmaker responded:
“We think she will be in the film, and Judi Dench is definitely in the film and there we are.”
The film is written by Dustin Lance Black, and will see Leonardo DiCaprio take the lead as Hoover.
