TWILIGHT heartthrob Kellan Lutz will attempt to take his first major leap to the big-screen as lead in Indonesia-set action-thriler, JAVA HEAT. He plays a mysterious vengeful American cop, who teams up with a Muslim detective (Ario Bayu) to track down Mickey Rourke’s hard-boiled, hulking terrorist and jewel thief, who has plans to kidnap a Sultan’s daughter (Atiqah Hasiholan).
The film is released in the US on the 10th May, while a UK date is still awaited. It’s written and directed by Conor Allyn. You can check out the previous trailer, featurette and images, which we brought you earlier in the year.
