Red Moon is a literary/horror crossover novel, reminiscent of Stephen King and Justin Cronin and to celebrate the publication of Red Moon today, we have a couple to giveaway!
The book is an apocalyptic vision of a future where lycans (werewolves) revolt against the drug treatment and isolation enforced by an increasingly conservative USA government to fight for the rights and freedom of the lycan population. Its magic is in its absolute authenticity in imagining a USA in this kind of social and political turmoil. It is so terrifying in its realism, it almost reads like a state-of-the-nation novel and we’ve got TWO copies to giveaway to the UK Only!
The incredible pre-publication quotes from Peter Straub and John Irving speak for themselves. John Irving described it as:
‘…A serious, politically symbolic novel—a literary novel about lycanthropes. If George Orwell had imagined a future where the werewolf population had grown to the degree that they were colonized and drugged, this terrifying novel might be it’.
Peter Straub said of Red Moon:
‘This is a novel with the power to thrill and transport, also to lead the reader well out of her comfort zone and into emotional territory few people have ever seen.‘
High accolades indeed and, yes there’s more, the film rights were recently bought by The Gotham Group (The Spiderwick Chronicles), and production is already underway, so it’s looking good for Red Moon, check out this trailer for the novel:
