We love a good spookfest, and we’re not talking about woeful watered down sequels of the PARANORMAL ACTIVITY kind. There is strong buzz surrounding SAW and INSIDIOUS director James Wan’s latest, THE CONJURING, after a number of special festival screenings. Many are suggesting this 1970s-set shocker could leave genre fans without any fingernails, once unleashed on the public!
Using the effective “based on a true story” moniker, the plot tells of world-renowned paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren’s most notorious case. The ghostbusting husband and wife team were supposedly asked to help a terrified family rid their farmhouse of the supernatural evil presence making their lives a misery. However, they find the entity unlike anything they have ever encountered.
The film stars Vera Farmiga, Patrick Wilson, Ron Livingston, Lili Taylor, Joey King, Shanley Caswell, Haley McFarland, Mackenzie Foy, and haunts cinemas from 19th July. Check out this new UK trailer.
