Sky Movies recently put Simon Pegg and J.J. Abrams together to have a little chat about their love for STAR WARS. Obviously, they’ve recently been part of the massive STAR TREK renewal but their love – as kids of the 70s – begun with the Lucas phenomenon. In this video, they discuss the impact on their lives and how it became such a part of society, it’s also interesting to hear the complete faith that Pegg has in the director to really bring STAR WARS back.
I’ve always loved the original Trilogy but films like GHOSTBUSTERS and JURASSIC PARK were the ones that really defined my youth. However, with JJ on board for STAR WARS EPISODE VII, there’s even more intrigue than before and I think he’s got what it takes to really bring some respect back to the Force.
