Now that REVENGE is finished for this season, Emily VanCamp can give the revenging a rest and join a new project. It was revealed that she will be joining THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO star Michael Nyqvist for new indie drama THE GIRL IN THE BOOK.
Set in New York City, the film follows a powerful literary agent (played by VanCamp) who is forced to face upsetting events of her past when she is asked to work on a re-release of her father’s star client’s novel (played by Nyqvist). She faces her demons, allowing her to to overcome her fears and find her creative side again. The film also marks the directorial and screenwriting debut for Marya Cohn.
VanCamp has been keeping busy during the hiatus of the hit teen show, she will also be starring in CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLIDER. Her latest project is set to start production Mid-June.
