The Hollywood Reporter’s superb Heat Vision blog are reporting that Warner Brothers are ready to reboot another popular 1980s film series, and this time it is the turn of LETHAL WEAPON, this time without Mel Gibson! Well, so we think.
The studio are also going to reboot remakes of THE WILD BUNCH and WESTWORLD, the Michael Crichton scripted movie that starred Yul Brynner. The move comes after the departure of studio executive Jessica Goodman. Her massive portfolio of projects are now being disributed for other execs to work on.
The properties will now get fresh and hungry eyes — and talent agents are already chatting up the potential projects and listing clients they can pitch for directing or writing gigs.
Other projects mentioned in the article are remakes of THE DIRTY DOZEN, TARZAN and OH GOD!
More here.
What do we think of these listed remakes then?
