This First Clip Has A ‘Trap For Cinderella’

K-PAX and THE WINGS OF THE DOVE director, Iain Softley, is at the helm of this tense, psychological independent drama, TRAP FOR CINDERELLA, based on the same-titled novel by Sébastien Japrisot. The dark adaptation centres on troubled Micky (played by rising British actress Tuppence Middleton), who’s suffering from amnesia after surviving the house fire that claimed the life for her close childhood friend. Her fun-loving photographer, living a party lifestyle in London, begins her tormented road to recovery.

A TRAP FOR CINDERELLA is released in the UK on the 12th July and co-stars Aneurin Barnard, Frances de la Tour, Alexandra Roach, Kerry Fox and Alex Jennings. Don’t forget to check out the first trailer and poster, if you missed it.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
