We’ve yet another look at Hugh Jackman’s cigar-chomping X-MEN character Logan in this brand new Japanese poster for spin-off action sequel, THE WOLVERINE. The film, directed by Oscar-winner James Mangold, sees the adamantium, razor-clawed mutant travel to Tokyo, Japan after discovering they’re may be a chance to rid himself of his immortal curse via the help of a mysterious man he saved decades earlier.
Based on the celebrated comic book arc, this epic action-adventure takes Wolverine, the most iconic character of the X-Men universe, to modern day Japan. Out of his depth in an unknown world he faces his ultimate nemesis in a life-or-death battle that will leave him forever changed. Vulnerable for the first time and pushed to his physical and emotional limits, he confronts not only lethal samurai steel but also his inner struggle against his own immortality, emerging more powerful than we have ever seen him before.
Will Yun Lee, Svetlana Khodchenkova, Hiroyuki Sanada, Hal Yamanouchi, Famke Janssen, Tao Okamoto, Rila Fukushima and Brian Tee co-star in the film unleashed on 26th July.
