A ‘Snowfall’ Is Coming To Mask Alien Invasion

An interesting twist on the science-fiction/alien invasion genre will soon be brought to the big-screen by debutant feature-length director Clark Baker. SNOWFALL, written by Brooks Elms and Glenn Sanders, will take place in Chicago during an unforgiving blizzard storm, which is being created to disguise the arrival of devious extraterrestrials intent on chomping on the human race. The focus will see trapped travellers on the underground El Train discover the real reason for the unexpected weather change as they fight for survival. It’s a pretty nifty and simple premise which may just surprise.

The director has also released this sizzle reel. It’s another varying collection of clips and footage edited together to give genre fans a taste of the terror to come. We’ve also added Baker’s short impressive horror film VESSEL, which is said to have landed him the gig. As ever, we’ll keep you posted as the cast comes together.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
