Screenwriter Max Landis is gearing up for his directorial debut after the success he has had with CHRONICLE and his latest screenplay FRANKENSTEIN. Over the weekend it was announced that some of young Hollywood’s finest: Dustin Milligan (pictured), Luke Bracey and Emily Meade will be joining the cast of his movie ME HIM HER.
Milligan is best known for his role in the CW’s reboot of 90210, while Meade is known for her supporting roles in YOUNG ADULT, GIMME SHELTER and TWELVE. Bracey is more new to the scene, appearing in the Aussie soap HOME AND AWAY and movie MONTE CARLO.
The film, being billed as a comedy about sexual identity, starts production next month. Big Beach Films, the production company behind Sundance hit THE KINGS OF SUMMER, will be fully financing the flick. Landis talked about his new project, saying it is a huge change from things he has done previously:
“ME HIM HER is completely different than anything I’ve ever written. You usually find me writing what I like to think of as intelligent summer action and genre films. ME HIM HER is deeply personal, and at its most basic level, a generational story about relationships and identity.”
ME HIM HER starts production next month in Los Angeles.
