The wonderful Heat Vision blog over at The Hollywood Reporter are saying that Michael Fassbender, he who will be Magneto in the upcoming X-MEN: FIRST CLASS, is set to star opposite Noomi Rapace in the film that was to be a prequel to ALIEN (but now isn’t), PROMETHEUS.
The film is going to be directed by Ridley Scott, and has a new release date set for June 8, 2012. Big summer event movie then?
This new confirms our earlier rumour of Fassbender’s involvement in the project. He will play an android in the film with Rapace cast as the female lead Elizabeth Shaw, who is described as a “young scientist”.
