Mark Gatiss Joins ‘Game Of Thrones’

Game Of ThronesIt’s a story that only us fanboys and girls could dream of, but it is very much real. It was revealed today that writer and actor Mark Gatiss will be joining the cast of HBO’s GAME OF THRONES for its fourth season.

At the minute the character that Gatiss will be playing is being kept under wraps, but we can only hope that something is accidentally let out when GAME OF THRONES has its Comic-Con panel on Thursday. The HBO show has been going from strength to strength as the seasons have gone on, earning the title of the cable network’s second most successful show (THE SOPRANOS being the first, obviously.)

Gatiss has written episodes for DOCTOR WHO and co-created BBC’s SHERLOCK, alongside Steven Moffat. He also appeared in them, starring as Sherlock Holmes’ brother Mycroft in a couple of episodes of the cult hit. It was also announced in May that he will be heading to the stage, starring alongside AVENGERS ASSEMBLE star Tom Hiddleston in Shakespere’s CORIOLANUS.
