On first look Vimeo’s (the pretty cool Video/filmmaking sharing site) first feature SOME GIRL(S) echoes a number of films that we’ve seen over the years. For me, it’s undoubtedly got the essence of HIGH FIDELITY but with a slight twist in that he’s actually getting married, rather than just trying to see what he did wrong to everyone over the years.
Adam Brody is a clever lead though after his many years in THE O.C. meaning there’s a good fan-base still following his career. However, the best stars are in the female leads in the shape of Kristen Bell, Zoe Kazan, Mia Maestro, Jennifer Morrison and Emily Watson.
In SOME GIRL(S), Brody’s character travels across the country to meet up with ex-lovers in an attempt to make amends for past relationship transgressions, oh and he’s also a successful successful writer…and it’s his wedding night, double trouble!
