THN spend all of Saturday in the packed to the rafters Hall H at the San Diego Comic Con to take in all of the panels on easily the busiest and most exciting day. The Marvel panel was the last major studio panel of the weekend, and it did not fail to disappoint. All of the cast from the upcoming GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY, including Benicio Del Toro, Dave Bautista, Chris Pratt, Michael Rooker, Lee Pace, Zoe Saldana and one Karen Gillan jetted into San Diego from the London set specifically for today’s panel.
Gillan turned up in a stunning dress and seemingly shoulder-length hair, until moderator Chris Hardwick asked if her character Nebula was supposed to have a bald head. She said yes, and then whipped off her wig exposing a freshly shaved head! THN grabbed a couple of pics from the overhead screens. Take a look at this.
The actress commented: “I was a little worried that I’d look like an overgrown foetus but it’s liberating. Everybody here should shave their head.”
GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY opens next summer, and judging by the footage we’ve seen today, we’re in for a comedic treat.
