It’s getting a limited US release this weekend, but for those of us living in less fortunate areas, here’s the trailer for Korean thriller THE TERROR, LIVE. Following a news anchor who makes the mistake of calling a terrorist’s bluff, the ambitious reporter soon finds himself broadcasting a live call with the terrorist. Mixing social commentary and massive explosions could make this a very important and enjoyable film, especially as it is focusing on the responsibility of the media as well as fear inducing terrorism. It could all add up to be a very relevant film, as well as containing the destruction of huge buildings. THE TERROR, LIVE will be the second film of Kim Byeong Woo.
THE TERROR, LIVE receives a limited US release on 9th August and will hopefully be released in other territories soon. It stars Ha Jung Woo, Lee Kyung Young, and Jeon Hye Jin.
