Walking charisma vacuum Bruce Willis has been spouting off again about his movies in another bid to shit on his shit legacy. Speaking with our Amigos at XLS he had this to say on the genre of films that have made him millions and a household name:
“Explosions are one of the most boring parts of my job. When you have seen a few fireballs, it’s not exciting anymore. I know part of my audience enjoys the explosions, but to be honest, I’m a bit bored of it now.”
“Ungrateful egg” I hear you scream but wait, he was being philosophical about action films, they do have a role of course:
“I am very clear with who I am. I work in all sorts of films, but the action movies are the ones that generate the most revenue. I like to earn lots of money from those, but I do all types: small productions, mega-projects, medium sized, even science fiction.”
Oh, so he makes them for the money, and uses the adverb even in relation to sci-fi as if the prospect of the LOOPER star jaunting into the genre is unfathomable. Did I mention he’s in LOOPER?
This is another in the growing line of Willisisms (definition below) in recent years after his animosity towards the admittedly hideous A GOOD DAY TO DIE HARD, and his extraordinarily rude demeanour during the RED 2 press junkets. Maybe the man has realised his career won’t get any better after the heights of COP OUT…
Willisism: adjective, used to describe a statement derisive of your work and, in particular, the hundreds of others who have worked tirelessly to make your talentless ass look good.
Your welcome Walter.
