Eric Bana Is Paranoid In First ‘Closed Circuit’ Clip & Featurette

Focus Features and Working Title’s forthcoming conspiracy thriller, CLOSED CIRCUIT, sees HULK and CHOPPER star Eric Bana lead as a suspicious solicitor opposite Brit stunner Rebecca Hall. The film is a London-set terrorist thriller centring on two former lovers forced to team up to bring to justice those thought to be responsible for a terrorist atrocity. It also has a superb supporting cast including Riz Ahmed, Jim Broadbent, Kenneth Cranham, Anne-Marie Duff, Ciarán Hinds and Julia Stiles.

In the international suspense thriller CLOSED CIRCUIT, a high-profile terrorism case unexpectedly binds together two ex-lovers (Eric Bana and Rebecca Hall) on the defense team – testing the limits of their loyalties and placing their lives in jeopardy.

One morning, a busy London market is decimated by an explosion. In the manhunt that follows, only one member of the suspected terrorist cell survives: Farroukh Erdogan (Denis Moschitto), who is arrested and jailed. Preparations begin for what promises to be the trial of the century.

Here we have the first clip and featurette for the film directed by BOY A’s John Crowley, which is slated for US cinemas from 28th August and the UK 1st November. You can find the first trailer and poster HERE, if you missed them.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
