Horror ‘We Are What We Are’ Trailer Arrives

Here’s the first trailer for horror remake WE ARE WHAT WE ARE, based on the 2010 Mexican film of the same name. After their mother passes away, the household rituals are passed down to the eldest girls of a reclusive family. Needless to say, the family has some dark secrets and a determined member of the public is hot on their tails after bones are found washed downstream. The film premiered at Sundance and has received some very positive reviews, which could make this an improvement over the subtle Mexican original. Jim Mickle, director of cult favourite STAKE LAND, takes on directorial duties, and if this trailer is anything to go by, he has captures a very unsettling and dark atmosphere.

WE ARE WHAT WE ARE is receiving a 27th September limited release in the US and a 25th October UK release date. It stars Ambyr Childers, Bill Sage, Julia Garner, Michael Parks Nick Damici, Wyatt Russell, and Kelly McGillis.
