New Teaser For James Franco’s ‘Child Of God’

The first teaser trailer has been posted for James Franco’s CHILD OF GOD, which is set to premiere at Venice on Saturday 31st August. Based on the novel by Cormac McCarthy, author behind THE ROAD and NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN, the film tells the violent story of Tennessee man Lester Ballard’s descent into darkness and crime. CHILD OF GOD is one of three films directed by Franco to premiere in 2013, the others being AS I LAY DYING, based on a novel by William Faulkner, and a biopic of Charles Bukowski titled BUKOWSKI. While all three look to be very interesting, CHILD OF GOD’s highly acclaimed and unconventional source material could make it something special.
